Key Questions: Subbing During the Pandemic

Over the past few months, as we’ve been developing SubSchool, our new substitute training platform, we’ve spoken with many people who are trying to determine whether substitute teaching is the right fit for them this Fall. It’s a difficult decision! We’ve created a resource that outlines the many different questions that current and potential subs may want to ask themselves and their employer before they enter the classroom during a pandemic. As you reach out to your sub pool and recruit new subs, we hope that you can use this resource to empathize with those who are contemplating subbing in your district, and to anticipate the questions that they may ask of you.
