SubSchool 50+
Have You Considered Substitute Teaching?
There is a constant and significant need for substitute teachers at nearly every school in the country, and subbing is flexible and fulfilling work. It’s a great option for people who are retired and looking for part-time opportunities, or people who are re-entering the workforce later in life.
With the generous support of the AARP Foundation, Substantial is offering free access to SubSchool for adults 50+ who are reentering the workforce.

A Word
From A Substitute
“I wish I had this when I started! When you first begin subbing – it’s a bit like walking into the unknown. Having SubSchool would have helped me feel more confident and would have given me the tools & ideas to feel prepared for my first day.”
– Sandra Johnson
“Community! That’s what subs need! There’s a wealth of knowledge out there on what works and what doesn’t. For subs to be able to come together and share those best-practices – it’s everything!”
